Doorhandles “Gaudi” & “Batllo”

Weijntjes has taken on a very special line of doorhandles in it’s assortment, namely the models “Gaudi” and “Batllo” which were designed by Gaudi. These doorhandles are produced according to traditional methods by an authentic foundry in Barcelona, the city of Gaudi. In Barcelona self Gaudi designed a few prominent buildings and other objects such as his masterpiece the “Sacrada familia” which is still under construction. Gaudi is seen as one of the founders of the “organic architecture” and a genius with regards to the Jugendstil. Both doorhandles are supplied exclusively by Weijntjes in unvarnished polished brass or polished nickel plated inclusive according rosettes. Matching escutcheons are available.

The Batllo doorhandle can be found in “Casa Batllo” designed by Gaudi and is applied in many rooms and spaces. The Gaudi model can be found in “Casa Mila” also known as “La Pedrera” which is also designed by Gaudi. Both models will add an extra sense of richness to any space where they are applied.
